Hunt insignia Jagdabzeichen: a feathered King

This hunting badge is NOT available for general sale. Such badges are often referred to as Jagdabzeichen and are part of the alpine hunting tradition, whereby the top gun at a hunt is gifted the badge as a mark of honor.

The sponsor of this Jagdabzeichen is a noble family that originated in Franconia and holds the title of baron. They boast a rich history entrenched in regional politics and wielded significant influence in government, military and society over the centuries. The crest features a rooster which I have incorporated into the design.
